PCL, Inc., a North Carolina based company, was awarded a contract for the design-build project to replace three bridges over the great Pee Dee River in South Carolina, which started in May 2016 and spans approximately two-and-one-half miles, including a total of three bodies of water in both Horry and Georgetown counties.
New York, NY – Tappan Zee Bridge – The sights over the Hudson River just became a bit more clear after the Prime Shears cleared the path and were beneficial in the removal of the old Tappan Zee Bridge piles to make way for a cleaner, less obtrusive waterway for commuters and seafarers alike.
Karratha, Australia – Austral Construction – October 2014 - Cutting piles down under and under pressure was an easy task for the Model 36 PCPC. During short maintenance shut down periods, the Prime Gate Shears had to get in and cut as many piles as possible during the demolition stage for Austral Construction. Precision Planning and speedy equipment proved successful in completing this stage of the project.
